International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and marking a call to action for accelerating gender parity. The theme this year is Balance for Better and building a gender-balanced world where everyone has a part to play – all the time, everywhere. This ties in nicely with two of our company values of Working Together which includes “Everybody in every department has a role to play and a voice to be heard” and Respecting Each Other. Here are those two values in full: ##### **Work Together** Everybody in every department has a role to play and a voice to be heard. We succeed only by working as a team, acting as a family and collaborating with each other. We use our capabilities and talent to constantly improve the service we offer our customers. ##### **Respect Each Other** We show respect for and value all individuals for their diverse backgrounds, experiences, styles, approaches and ideas. We listen to others to gain understanding and insist our employees act with integrity and respect themselves, their teams and their customers. ##### **[Click here to see all of our company values](https://www.opustech.co.uk/about-opus/)** For more information about the day and its history you can visit the [International Women’s Day website](https://www.internationalwomensday.com/). ### All the news and insights, straight to your inbox.
