Opus takes part in Britain’s largest coffee morning

Opus does MacMillan Cancer Coffee Morning virtually

Every year staff at Opus come together in the office to bake and buy cakes in support of the annual MacMillan Cancer Coffee Morning.  This year was a little different as many of us are working from home and there are the obvious rules about social distancing and keeping us all safe in the office. But, we still wanted to ensure we could come together to collectively support such a worthy cause.  So, this week our staff have been hosting their very own socially distanced coffee mornings, raising a mug and donating to help those affected by cancer live life as fully as they possible.

Here are some of the highlights from the virtual coffee mornings that have been taking place this week – thank you to all who took part and donated.

About MacMillan Cancer

This is what MacMillan Cancer have to say about their ambition to help those affected by cancer:

We understand how cancer can affect people’s whole lives – health, money, family, job; everything. And, after more than 100 years of caring, we understand that the most important thing is to treat people as individuals, not patients.

So we take the time to understand the support people need to live their lives as fully as they can. From the moment of diagnosis and whenever we’re most needed, we’re here to help people find their best way through. Our help is totally focused on each individual person, so everyone receives the support that’s best for them.
