Supporting Mitel CustomersTo help Mitel customers adapt to the current climate and embrace the new normal, we’ve been supporting customers on their chosen paths. This has included delivering best-of-breed communications and collaboration, leveraging existing Mitel investments by migrating solutions to the cloud, and offering innovative integrations with complimentary solutions such as Microsoft Teams.

Our goal has been to help customers enjoy the benefits of enhanced communication and gain the ability to work from anywhere, whilst maximising the value of their Mitel investment.

Read on to find out why you should choose Opus as your Mitel service provider of choice.

Enhancing productivity and streamlining communications

As a Mitel Platinum Support Partner, at Opus, we’re helping customers increase productivity and consolidate their tools to reduce cost, administration and training requirements as organisations restructure their operations to meet the changing working environment.

One way we’re doing this is by migrating Mitel users to the MiCloud Flex service built on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Moving to the cloud delivers scalability, resilience and the ability to work from anywhere. Mitel Flex supports Mitel’s cloud-first strategy and leverages Google Cloud to provide a dedicated, secure and highly reliable communications solution for increased efficiency, simplicity and mobility.

Another way we’ve been supporting our customers is through innovative integrations with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams. Available as part of the Microsoft Office 365 suite, Teams is an intuitive video conferencing solution that’s proving a popular way for remote workers to keep in touch and feel part of a team.

Mitel customers in conferenceWe’ve developed an integration with our Mitel platforms that allows Teams users to make and receive voice calls on their Teams application via the existing incoming and outgoing telephone numbers that your customers, colleagues and suppliers are familiar with. This has enabled business as usual communications for remote homeworkers within a safe, reliable corporate environment — backed up by enterprise service level agreements.

By integrating Microsoft Teams technology with their Mitel communications, our customers have been able to harness seamless collaboration and voice communications on one shared workspace. In today’s remote working climate, this helps to simplify communications, enhance teamwork between colleagues, and boost productivity.

Thanks to our award-winning customer support, businesses can also experience enterprise-level call handling and distribution with SLAs, plus service and support from modern desktop and telephony experts. Whatever your Mitel telephony challenge, we can help.

Empowering employees to work from anywhere

With home working now the norm for many businesses, we’ve been busy empowering Mitel customers to work from anywhere, any time, on any device. For example, we’ve enabled customers to easily make and receive calls from their PC, mobile or tablet via Mitel’s MiCollab collaboration suite or via applications such as Microsoft Teams. Users can easily make calls directly from an on-screen keypad, or from Microsoft Contacts on any device. They can also utilise click-to-call functionality from websites and emails for even greater flexibility.

When using the Microsoft Teams voice solution, integration with Word, Excel and PowerPoint enables even further flexibility for a truly seamless experience. Users can also experience real-time updates with Outlook calendar synchronisation, and utilise secure chat and HD video meetings to further complement team working.

Maximising the value of your Mitel investment

According to a recent McKinsey article, many companies are planning to adopt a combination of remote and on-site working in a bid to secure greater talent, enhance productivity, reduce costs, maximise flexibility and improve the employee experience.

However, striking a perfect balance between virtual and on-site working is easier said than done and relies heavily on having the right technology in place to support your goals. McKinsey research also suggests that ‘leading businesses are investing as much in upgrading the core of their business as they are in innovation, often by harnessing technology.’

Maximise your Mitel investment

Gartner suggests that ‘You can’t succeed with technology alone; you will need a team with the right skills and competencies to make it happen.’ That’s why we believe Mitel users should be speaking to Opus before making any decisions about their Mitel communications.

At Opus, we’re dedicated to helping you maximise the value of your technology investment to achieve the remote working benefits mentioned above while minimising disruption. That’s why we’re helping Mitel customers harness their existing voice services to enhance communication and collaboration.

As a result, your organisation can continue to deliver a standout customer experience that utilises best-of-breed technology.
